We enjoyed our stay at this Ericeira apartment very much. The photos depict it well but they don’t actually do it justice. The apartment was much bigger and more unique than we anticipated. The most impressive part is the living room, which has large windows overlooking a small town square and a few city streets. Particularly at night, it is simply wonderful to have the windows open and sit and socialize as the sounds, sights, and smells of the beautiful beach town enter. We had eight people (three couples, two singles in the bunkbed) in the apartment and it never felt crowded. The large size of the living room and the two and a half baths help that, so do the set-back nature of the bedrooms, as well as the small balcony off of the kitchen. The location is also fantastic. About a five minute walk to the beach. Within a two block radius there is a great gourmet food store (Amelia), a wonderful Portuguese restaurant (Casa Portuguesas - there may be other great restaurants around, this was our favorite), a cheap and fun dive bar, a higher-end trendy tiki bar (forgot the names of the bars), and a coffee shop literally underneath (Nata of Ericeira). Very lively neighborhood. The apartment was well appointed with towels, kitchen supplies, and all the other necessities including some beach toys and beach umbrellas. I definitely recommend a stay here.
